John Mitchel (politician and journalist)

John Mitchel (1815–1875) was an influential Irish nationalist politician, journalist, and writer. He played a significant role in the Irish struggle for independence during the 19th century. Mitchel was a founding member of the Young Ireland Movement and famously advocated for armed rebellion against British rule.
