Jahanara Shahnawaz

Jahanara Shahnawaz was a prominent Indian politician and activist born in 1896, known for her significant contributions to the Indian independence movement. As a member of the All-India Muslim League, she was an advocate for women's rights and played a crucial role in promoting women's education and participation in politics. Shahnawaz was a strong supporter of the idea of a united India, opposing the partition based on religious lines. Her work extended beyond politics, as she was also involved in social reforms.
