Jack Lousma

Jack Lousma is a retired NASA astronaut and former U.S. Marine Corps officer. Born on February 29, 1936, he flew two space missions: Skylab 3 in 1973, which involved working on America's first space station, and the Space Shuttle Columbia in 1981. Over his career, he logged more than 1,600 hours in space. Lousma is also noted for his work as an engineer and his advocacy for space exploration.
