Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach that views the mind as composed of distinct parts, each with its own feelings, thoughts, and roles. These parts often develop in response to life experiences and can be categorized as protectors, exiles, or managers. The goal is to foster a compassionate relationship between these parts and the core Self—an inner sense of calm and clarity—enabling individuals to understand, heal, and harmonize their internal system. IFS promotes self-awareness and internal balance, helping manage emotional struggles by integrating all parts into a cohesive, resilient whole.
