Immigration Courts

Immigration Courts are specialized courts in the United States that handle cases involving non-citizens facing deportation or seeking relief from removal. When someone disagrees with an Immigration Judge's decision, they can appeal to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), which is the highest administrative body for immigration cases. The BIA reviews the case for legal errors and can either uphold, reverse, or remand the decision back to the Immigration Court for further proceedings. This process ensures that individuals have a fair chance to challenge decisions affecting their immigration status.
