Holocaust survivor

A Holocaust survivor is a person who lived through the Holocaust, a period during World War II (1933-1945) when six million Jews, along with millions of others, were systematically persecuted and murdered by the Nazi regime in Europe. Survivors include those who escaped deportation, were in hiding, or endured concentration camps. After the war, many survivors faced the challenges of rebuilding their lives, often sharing their stories to educate others about the horrors of the Holocaust and to promote remembrance, tolerance, and human rights.
