Shoah Foundation

The Shoah Foundation, officially known as the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education, was established in 1994 by filmmaker Steven Spielberg. Its mission is to document and preserve the testimonies of Holocaust survivors and witnesses. The Foundation has collected over 55,000 video interviews, creating a comprehensive archive that serves as an educational resource. These testimonies aim to promote understanding of the Holocaust and to combat hatred and intolerance. The Foundation also produces educational materials and programs to engage students and educators worldwide in discussions about genocide and human rights.
