Henry VI

Henry VI was King of England from 1422 to 1461 and again from 1470 to 1471. His reign was marked by mental health issues, political instability, and fierce power struggles known as the Wars of the Roses between the houses of Lancaster and York. He was the first monarch to have a mental breakdown, leading to a power vacuum that allowed rival factions to fight for control. Despite efforts to unite the kingdom, his reign saw significant turmoil and ultimately led to his deposition. He was captured and murdered in 1471, which cemented the rise of the Yorkist faction.
