Heliosphere

The heliosphere is a vast bubble-like region around our solar system formed by the solar wind—a stream of charged particles emitted by the Sun. This solar wind pushes outward, creating a boundary where it interacts with the interstellar medium, the matter that exists between stars. This boundary, called the heliopause, marks where the solar wind's influence ends and the interstellar environment begins. The heliosphere protects our solar system from some cosmic radiation and helps astronomers understand how stellar winds interact with surrounding space. Essentially, it’s the Sun’s protective "bubble" in the galaxy.
