Hebbian theory

Hebbian theory is a concept from neuroscience that explains how connections between brain cells, called neurons, strengthen over time through experience. It states that when two neurons activate together repeatedly, the connection between them becomes stronger, making it easier for them to communicate in the future. In simple terms, "cells that fire together, wire together." This process helps in learning and forming memories, as repeated experience reinforces neural pathways, enabling skills and knowledge to develop more efficiently.
