Hatshepsut

Hatshepsut was a prominent Egyptian pharaoh who reigned during the 18th dynasty, around 1479 to 1458 BCE. Notably, she was one of the few female pharaohs in ancient Egypt and often depicted herself as a male ruler to gain authority. Hatshepsut is recognized for her impressive building projects, including her mortuary temple at Deir el-Bahari, and for promoting trade, which boosted Egypt's economy. Her reign was marked by relative peace and prosperity. After her death, her legacy was somewhat erased, but modern archaeology has revealed her significant contributions to Egyptian history.
