GPS receivers
GPS receivers are devices that determine your precise location using signals from satellites in space. The Global Positioning System (GPS) consists of at least 24 satellites orbiting the Earth, continuously transmitting information about their location and the time the signals were sent. A GPS receiver calculates its position by measuring the time it takes for these signals to reach it, using data from at least four satellites for accurate positioning. This technology is widely used in smartphones, cars, and navigation systems, helping with directions, tracking, and various location-based services.
