General Assembly
The General Assembly is one of the main bodies of the United Nations (UN) where all member countries gather to discuss and address global issues. Each country, regardless of its size or power, has a voice and a vote. The Assembly meets annually to debate topics such as peace, security, and development, making recommendations or decisions on global policies. It's a platform for diplomacy, fostering international cooperation, and promoting dialogue among nations to tackle challenges like poverty, climate change, and human rights. However, its resolutions are generally recommendations rather than legally binding decisions.
