GAVI Alliance

The GAVI Alliance, now known simply as GAVI, is a global partnership dedicated to improving health by increasing access to vaccines for children in low-income countries. Founded in 2000, it brings together governments, international organizations, and private sector partners to fund and deliver vaccines, combat infectious diseases, and strengthen health systems. GAVI’s goal is to save lives and ensure that all children, regardless of where they live, receive necessary immunizations, ultimately contributing to global health and development. Its efforts have significantly reduced vaccine-preventable diseases in many regions, enhancing the health of millions of children worldwide.
