Extra Dimensions

Extra dimensions refer to additional dimensions beyond the familiar three spatial dimensions (length, width, height) and one time dimension we experience daily. In theoretical physics, particularly in string theory, it's proposed that there might be more dimensions—usually hidden or compacted at very small scales. These extra dimensions can help explain fundamental forces and particles in the universe, offering a more comprehensive understanding of gravity, electromagnetism, and nuclear forces. While we can't directly perceive these dimensions, they could fundamentally influence the way the universe operates on a microscopic level.
