EU Data Protection Board

The EU Data Protection Board (EDPB) is an independent body established under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to ensure consistent application of data protection laws across Europe. It advises on data protection matters, helps resolve disputes between countries, and provides guidance on interpreting GDPR rules. The EDPB consists of representatives from each EU member state's data protection authority and the European Data Protection Supervisor. Its main goal is to safeguard individuals' privacy rights while fostering cooperation among national authorities in protecting personal data.
