Ethical Subjectivism

Ethical subjectivism is the view that moral judgments are based on individual feelings, opinions, or cultural perspectives rather than objective truths. In this framework, what is considered "right" or "wrong" can vary greatly between people or societies, similar to how tastes in art or beauty differ. Therefore, there are no universal moral standards; instead, each person's beliefs shape their moral views. This perspective aligns with moral relativism, which emphasizes the context-dependent nature of ethics, acknowledging that different cultures may have distinct, equally valid moral frameworks.
