Aesthetic Subjectivism

Aesthetic subjectivism is the idea that our judgment of beauty or art is completely personal. It proposes that there are no universal standards or rules for what is beautiful or artistic. Instead, each person's perception and experience determines their understanding of beauty. So, what you might find appealing or aesthetically significant, someone else might not. Aesthetic subjectivism suggests that beauty, in a sense, is in the eye of the beholder.
