Epistemic Paradoxes

Epistemic paradoxes arise when our beliefs about knowledge lead to contradictions or puzzling situations. In the context of general knowledge, these paradoxes often showcase conflicts between what we think we know and what we can actually know. For example, consider the "unexpected hanging" paradox: a prisoner is told he will be hanged unexpectedly next week. If he tries to deduce when the hanging will occur to avoid being surprised, he ends up realizing he can't pinpoint when it will happen, leading to an unexpected outcome. These paradoxes challenge our understanding of knowledge and belief.
