
Emanuel Schikaneder
Emanuel Schikaneder (1751–1812) was an Austrian librettist, theatrical manager, and composer, best known for creating the opera "Die Entführung aus dem Serail" (The Abduction from the Seraglio) and for his collaboration with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on the opera "Die Zauberflöte" (The Magic Flute).
