Elbow injury

An elbow injury refers to damage or trauma to the elbow joint, which connects the upper arm to the forearm. Common injuries include ligament sprains, tendinitis, fractures, and dislocations, often resulting from overuse, awkward falls, or sports activities. Symptoms may include pain, swelling, stiffness, and limited range of motion. Treatment often involves rest, ice, compression, elevation (RICE), physical therapy, or sometimes surgery, depending on the severity. Preventative measures include proper warm-up, strength training, and avoiding excessive strain on the elbow during activities.
