Early Church

The Early Church refers to the Christian community and its development from the time of Jesus' ministry (approximately 30 AD) to about 325 AD, when Emperor Constantine legalized Christianity. This period includes the apostles' teachings, the spread of the faith through the Roman Empire, and the formation of core beliefs and practices. Early Christians faced persecution and often met in secret, developing a strong sense of community. Key events include the Council of Jerusalem and the establishment of church leadership. The Early Church laid the foundations for the theology, scriptures, and traditions that shape Christianity today.
