Cysts
A cyst is a closed sac or capsule on or inside the body, filled with fluid, air, or semi-solid material. They can develop anywhere, including skin, organs, or tissues, often as a result of infection, blockage, or abnormal cell growth. Most cysts are benign (non-cancerous) and may cause no symptoms, but some can become painful, infected, or grow large enough to affect nearby structures. Treatment depends on the type, location, and symptoms, ranging from simple monitoring to drainage or surgical removal when necessary.
