Cumulonimbus clouds

Cumulonimbus clouds are large, towering clouds often associated with thunderstorms. They can reach high into the atmosphere and are characterized by their dense, fluffy appearance, resembling a giant cauliflower. These clouds produce heavy rain, lightning, thunder, and sometimes hail. They form when warm, moist air rises quickly, cooling and condensing into water droplets. Cumulonimbus clouds can also lead to severe weather events, including tornadoes, due to their powerful updrafts. Recognizing these clouds can help in anticipating stormy weather conditions.
