Comunidad Autónoma
A "Comunidad Autónoma" is an autonomous community in Spain, which refers to one of the country's regions that has a significant degree of self-government. Each Comunidad Autónoma has its own parliament and government, allowing it to make decisions on various local matters such as education, health, and transportation. Spain has 17 of these regions, including Catalonia, Andalusia, and the Basque Country, each with its own unique identity, culture, and sometimes language. This structure allows for greater regional autonomy while still being part of the larger Spanish state.
