Command Module (Endeavour)

The Command Module (CM) Endeavour was the spacecraft used during the Apollo 15 mission, NASA's fourth manned lunar landing, in 1971. It housed the astronauts during launch, space travel, and re-entry to Earth. The module was designed to support three astronauts, providing life support and navigation systems. Named "Endeavour" in honor of Captain James Cook's ship, it played a crucial role in lunar exploration, allowing astronauts to safely travel to and from the Moon while conducting scientific experiments. The successful mission enhanced our understanding of the Moon's geology and furthered human space exploration efforts.
