Christopher Columbus: The Four Voyages

Christopher Columbus completed four significant voyages across the Atlantic Ocean in the late 15th century. His first voyage in 1492 aimed to find a westward route to Asia but instead led him to the islands of the Caribbean, including present-day Bahamas. Subsequent voyages (1493, 1498, 1502) explored parts of Central and South America. Columbus's expeditions opened the Americas to European exploration and eventual colonization, profoundly impacting world history.
