Imagine a bus that only allows passengers to board in groups of five; passengers wait until enough people arrive to fill the bus before departing. This approach can improve efficiency, especially in busy environments like factories or service centers. In these systems, both arrivals and service happen in bulk, which can lead to longer waiting times if the groups are too large, but can also maximize resources by reducing idle time when demand is steady.
