The Brahmaputra River is one of the major rivers in Asia, flowing through Tibet, India, and Bangladesh. It originates from the Himachal Pradesh region in Tibet, where it is called the Tsangpo. The river travels approximately 2,900 kilometers, making it one of the longest rivers in the world. In India, it is vital for agriculture, transportation, and local economies. It eventually merges with the Ganges River before emptying into the Bay of Bengal. The Brahmaputra is also significant for its diverse ecosystems and cultural importance, supporting numerous communities along its banks.
