Blockade Strategy
A blockade strategy involves preventing access to a specific area, typically by military forces, to achieve political or military goals. This can involve surrounding a location, such as a city or a country, to stop the flow of goods, troops, or information, effectively isolating it. By restricting supplies and reinforcements, the blockading party aims to weaken the opponent's ability to sustain itself, eventually forcing them to surrender or negotiate. Historically used in warfare, blockades can also apply in economic contexts, where countries restrict trade with one another to exert pressure.
