Blackbeard's ship (Queen Anne's Revenge)
Blackbeard's ship, the Queen Anne's Revenge, was a famed pirate vessel during the early 18th century. Originally a French slave ship named La Concorde, it was captured by the notorious pirate Blackbeard (Edward Teach) in 1716. The ship was heavily armed with cannons, making it a formidable presence on the seas. Blackbeard used the Queen Anne's Revenge to conduct raids along the American coast and in the Caribbean, enhancing his legendary status. In 1718, the ship ran aground near Beaufort, North Carolina, and eventually sank, becoming an important symbol of piracy in American history.
