The Battle of Halule, fought in 331 BCE, was a significant conflict during Alexander the Great's campaign against the Persian Empire. It took place near the banks of the river Halys in present-day Turkey. Alexander's forces faced the Persian army led by satraps, local governors tasked with defending their territory.
