Atlantic Blue Marlin
The Atlantic blue marlin is a large, powerful fish found in the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Known for its distinctive long, spear-like bill and striking blue coloration, it can weigh over 1,000 pounds and grow up to 14 feet long. Valued for sport fishing due to its speed and strength, the blue marlin is often seen leaping out of the water. Its diet mainly consists of smaller fish and squid. While admired for its beauty and prowess, overfishing and habitat loss pose threats to its population, prompting conservation efforts to ensure its survival.
