Arthur, Prince of Wales

Arthur, Prince of Wales, was the eldest son of King Henry VII of England and Elizabeth of York, born in 1486. He was a key figure in the Tudor dynasty, as his marriage to Catherine of Aragon was intended to strengthen alliances. Sadly, Prince Arthur died young in 1502 at just 15 years old, which shifted the fate of the throne to his younger brother, Henry, who later became King Henry VIII. Arthur's life and death significantly influenced English history, particularly in relation to the political landscape and the Reformation initiated by his brother’s marriage decisions.
