Arthroscopic Capsular Release

Arthroscopic capsular release is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to treat conditions like frozen shoulder, where the joint capsule becomes stiff and limits movement. During the surgery, a tiny camera (arthroscope) and specialized tools are inserted through small incisions in the skin. The surgeon releases tight areas of the capsule to restore mobility and reduce pain. This technique usually results in less recovery time and less scarring compared to traditional open surgery. Patients can often begin physical therapy shortly after the procedure to help regain strength and flexibility.
