Ararat
Ararat, often referred to as Mount Ararat, is a significant mountain located in eastern Turkey, near the borders with Armenia and Iran. It is renowned for its snowy peaks and towering presence, rising about 5,137 meters (16,854 feet) high, making it the highest peak in Turkey. Ararat holds great historical and cultural significance; it is traditionally associated with the biblical story of Noah’s Ark, which is said to have come to rest on the mountain after the great flood. The mountain is also a symbol of national identity for Armenians and is often depicted in art and literature.
