Ararat (Armenia)

Ararat, often referred to as Mount Ararat, is a significant and iconic mountain in Armenia, located near the border with Turkey. Standing at about 5,137 meters (16,854 feet), it is the highest peak in the Armenian Highlands. Its snow-capped summit is deeply ingrained in Armenian culture and history, often symbolizing national identity. Ararat is also biblically notable as the resting place of Noah's Ark, according to tradition.
