Aquarius Reef Base

Aquarius Reef Base is an underwater research facility located off the coast of Florida in the Florida Keys. It serves as a marine laboratory where scientists live and work underwater, studying ocean ecosystems and marine life. Equipped with living quarters and workspaces, the facility allows researchers to conduct long-term studies on coral reefs and other aquatic environments. It is the only underwater habitat used for scientific research, enabling scientists to experience and observe the ocean firsthand, thereby gaining valuable insights into marine biology and conservation.
