saturation diving chamber

A saturation diving chamber is a specialized, high-pressure environment used for deep-sea diving operations. It allows divers to stay underwater for extended periods without the need for frequent decompression. Inside the chamber, divers breathe a mix of gases, typically helium and oxygen, to prevent nitrogen narcosis. When ready to dive, they are transported in and out of the water via a diving bell. The chamber maintains pressure similar to the deep-sea environment, so when divers return to the surface, they can decompress slowly and safely, minimizing the risk of decompression sickness.
