saturation diving systems

Saturation diving systems enable divers to work at great depths for extended periods safely. Divers live in a pressurized environment called a saturation chamber, where their bodies adapt to the underwater pressure, reducing the number of decompressions needed after the mission. They are then transported to the work site in a pressurized diving bell, which maintains the same pressure as the chamber. This setup minimizes health risks from repeated decompressions and allows efficient, prolonged underwater operations like oil rig maintenance or subsea construction. After completing their tasks, divers decompress gradually in a controlled manner before returning to the surface.
