Anton Drexler

Anton Drexler was a German politician and the founder of the German Workers' Party (DAP) in 1919, which later evolved into the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP), commonly known as the Nazi Party. Initially a nationalist and anti-communist, Drexler promoted ideas of German nationalism and anti-Semitism. Although he played a crucial role in establishing the party, he was soon overshadowed by Adolf Hitler, who ultimately led the party to power. Drexler's early efforts laid the groundwork for the movement that would transform Germany and lead to World War II and the Holocaust.
