Antifa

Antifa, short for "anti-fascist," is a loosely organized movement that opposes fascism and far-right ideologies. Members often engage in direct action, protests, and activism to counteract what they perceive as hate speech, racism, and authoritarianism. Antifa is not a formal organization with a central leadership, but rather a network of individuals and groups who share similar goals. Their tactics can include demonstrations, counter-protests, and, occasionally, confrontational methods. While supporters view them as defenders of marginalized communities, critics argue that their tactics can be divisive or violent, complicating discussions about free speech and social justice.
