Antifa (movement)

Antifa, short for "anti-fascist," is a loosely organized movement composed of individuals who oppose far-right extremism, fascism, and white supremacy. They often engage in direct action, including protests and sometimes confrontation, aimed at opposing groups they see as discriminatory or authoritarian. Antifa is not a centralized organization but a diverse network of activists with varying tactics and beliefs. While some members advocate for militant actions, many focus on peaceful protest and community organizing. Their primary goal is to challenge and dismantle what they perceive as threats to democratic values caused by far-right ideologies.
