Anthropic Reasoning

Anthropic reasoning is a way of understanding our universe by considering why we are here to observe it. It suggests that the conditions we see in the cosmos—like the laws of physics or the existence of Earth—are such that they allow for life, particularly human life, to exist. In essence, it reflects on the idea that if the universe were different, we might not be here to ask these questions. Thus, our observations might be biased towards conditions that support life, leading us to ask why those specific conditions are present.
