Anand Rao Holkar

Anand Rao Holkar was a prominent Indian nobleman and a significant ruler of the Holkar dynasty in the 19th century. Born in 1798, he became the Maharaja of Indore, one of the important princely states in British India. His reign lasted from 1818 until his death in 1834. Anand Rao is known for modernizing his state, promoting education, and fostering economic development.
