Analytic Judgments

Analytic judgments are statements where the truth of the claim is inherent in the meanings of the terms used. For example, "All bachelors are unmarried men" is an analytic judgment because the definition of a bachelor includes being unmarried. In these judgments, you don't need additional information or evidence to know they are true; they are self-evident based on the definitions. They contrast with synthetic judgments, which require external information to establish their truth. Essentially, analytic judgments clarify what we already understand about concepts and relationships within our existing knowledge.
