ABA Model Rule 8.4(g)

ABA Model Rule 8.4(g) prohibits attorneys from engaging in conduct that reflects negatively on the profession by discriminating or harassing others based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or similar characteristics. Essentially, it requires lawyers to treat everyone with respect and fairness, both in their professional and personal interactions. The rule aims to promote a more inclusive legal community and ensure that attorneys uphold the dignity of the profession by not participating in any behavior that perpetuates inequality or hostility against individuals or groups.
