A-F Grading Scale
The A-F grading scale is a traditional system used to evaluate academic performance. Each letter grade represents a range of scores: A (90-100%) is excellent, B (80-89%) is good, C (70-79%) is average, D (60-69%) is below average, and F (below 60%) signifies failure. This scale helps educators assess students' understanding of material. Grading may also include plus (+) or minus (-) designations for additional distinctions within each letter category. Generally, higher grades reflect better mastery of the subject, while lower grades indicate areas needing improvement.
