Xerophytes

Xerophytes are plants adapted to survive in environments with very little water, such as deserts or dry regions. They have specialized features to conserve moisture, like thick, waxy coatings on leaves, deep root systems, small or needle-like leaves to reduce water loss, and the ability to store water in their tissues. These adaptations help xerophytes withstand prolonged droughts and high temperatures, allowing them to thrive where many other plants cannot. Examples include cacti, succulents, and certain types of grasses.
