Wave Mechanics
Wave mechanics, also known as quantum mechanics, is a branch of physics that describes how particles, like electrons, behave more like waves than solid objects. Instead of giving exact positions or paths, it gives us probabilities of where we might find particles. This way, a particle isn't just at one point, but potentially in multiple places until we measure it. It's unlike anything we experience in our day-to-day lives, but it’s precisely how nature functions at the smallest scales.
